Questing
One of the easiest ways to "level" up your character outside of plot events is through quests. Quests are when you gather a small group of people and lead them, in character, to complete some mission. After you complete the quest everyone who participated will receive rewards for their help, money, items, rarely a Blessing of the Goddesses.
There are four different kinds of quests: Gathering, Raids, Dungeon, and Event.
Gathering are non-combat quests designed with the idea of actually gathering some items, be they food ingredients or ancient scrolls. Raids are combat quests where you must defeat small groups of enemies, there will be no bosses. Dungeons are certain areas transformed by the Goddesses and can either be combat or non-combat quests with the emphasis on puzzle solving, dungeons will very often have a boss at the end that will be spawned and NPC'd by a member of Staff NOTE: STAFF MUST APPROVE ALL DUNGEON QUESTS. Event quests can be any of the above mentioned with the focus on advancing the Site Plot, Event quests will often have special rules to follow as well.
Quest difficulty is measured independently of the type of quest.
Easy quests have a small easily obtained goal such as gathering herbs or killing a pack of dire rats. Easy quests should run at least 2-3 pages.
Medium quests have slightly harder goals such as clearing out a bandit cave. Medium quests tend to run 3-5 pages in length.
Hard quests are as the name implies, quite difficult. Usually they tend to be raids into a feral vampire nest or hunting down a dangerous Boss creature. Not to be taken lightly. Hard quests should run about 5-7 pages in length.
Master quests are the most difficult quests and should not be attempted by low leveled characters. Should make it to at least 7 pages in length before completion. NOTE: DEATH IS A VERY REAL POSSIBILITY IN MASTER RANKED QUESTS
Most quests you are only allowed a minimum of two members and a maximum of 5. Event quests might have more or less than the minimum or maximum.
Take this code and post your quest signup in the Quest board. When your quest is finished post again in your signup thread with a link to your finished quest for rewards.
