Racials
Each of the Races have access to different racials, some are dependent on the different subspecies of the race as well. You may only pick one racial to start out and can only upgrade or choose a new racial after receiving a Race Point.
Human
Sturdy: Humans have a knack of being tough to go down. This stubborness extends into Combat as well.
Level 0: Cannot ignore damage
Level 1: They can ignore 1 attack that would instantly K.O. them per battle. Can be activated up to three times a thread.
Level 2: They can ignore 1 attack that would instantly K.O. them per battle. Can be activated up to five times a thread.
Level 3: They can ignore 2 attacks that would instantly K.O. them per battle. Can be activated up to five times a thread.
Innovative: Technology is one thing humans understand better than any other race. In their hands weapons such as crossbows and guns deal extra damage.
Level 0: Tech weapons don't deal any extra damage.
Level 1: Tech weapons deal an extra 5 points of damage.
Level 2: Tech weapons deal an extra 10 points of damage.
Level 3: Tech weapons deal an extra 20 points of damage.
Patriot: Humans are originally from the Duné Empire. The more Patriotic ones feel a sense of pride and surge of power in the presence of other Patriots.
Level 0: Not a Patriot no bonus
Level 1: In the presence of another Patriot (someone with this Racial) they can deal an extra 5 points of damage. Does not stack.
Level 2: Level 1 bonus plus they can deal an extra 10 points of damage in the presence of two other patriots. Does not stack.
Level 3: Levels 1 and 2 bonus plus they can deal an extra 20 points of damage in the presence of three or more patriots. Does not stack.
Elf
Chosen: High Elves believe them to be chosen by the Goddesses. Whether true or not it does increase their magic abilities.
HIGH ELF ONLYLevel 0: You're not chosen sorry.
Level 1: Gain an ONE extra spell.
Level 2: Mana cost of spells is cut in half. If original cost is an odd number round up e.g. 5/2=2.5 and 2.5 rounded up is 3.
Level 3: Level 2 bonus plus regenerate 1 mana every post.
Protector: Wood Elves guard the Forest. They know the secrets and can move silently.
WOOD ELF ONLYLevel 0: Not a very good Protector are you?
Level 1: Your knowledge of the woods allows you to move quietly in all Illusion Path boards.
Level 2: Level 1 bonus plus your knowledge of the woods means you can deal an extra 10 points of damage when fighting in the Illusion Path boards.
Level 3: Levels 1 and 2 bonus plus your knowledge of the woods has extended to all of Mystern Forest. Any boards of predominantly forest you can know activate the other two bonuses.
Pixie Powers: Fairies all have a unique set of powers among the Elves.
FAIRY ONLYLevel 0: Are you sure you're a fairy?
Level 1: Your wings work and you can now fly! Well hover for a short period of time. No more than five posts.
Level 2: Level 1 bonus you can know shrink in size. You're evasiveness goes up, you can now dodge an extra attack but only while shrunk. Your damage output goes does to just 5 points though. Can only stay shrunk for up to 5 turns.
Level 3: Levels 1 and 2 bonus plus your fairy magic means you can heal yourself and others! You can heal 30 points worth of health to one person every 3 turns.
Native: Elves are the oldest race in Mystern as well as the only true natives. As such they rarely ever get lost in the forest.
Level 0: Couldn't find your way out of a wet paper bag.
Level 1: You hardly ever get lost anymore. In dungeons you can bypass an entire room. In gathering quests and raids you can lead the party thru shortcuts to the goal.
Level 2: You know the woods like the back of your hand. You no longer need a torch at night or in dark dungeons and you can now bypass two rooms in a dungeon.
Level 3: As good as you are you just know there are still areas in Mystern Forest left to explore. You take it upon yourself to do such. Staff might use this character to uncover a new board.

Grimm
Vampirism: Vampires are known to be bloodsuckers. This is the proof.
VAMPIRE ONLYLevel 0: Blood's tasty an all, but it's practically just water to you.
Level 1: Every attack has a 30% chance of healing you to half the damage you dealt.
Level 2: Every attack has a 50% chance of healing you to half the damage you dealt.
Level 3: Every attack has a 75% chance of healing you to half the damage you dealt.
Moon Struck: Werewolves are famous for their strength under the full moon. It's not like the legends say though.
WEREWOLVES ONLYLevel 0: Not even a full moon can help you become stronger.
Level 1: Every kill you make increases your damage output by 5 pints for the battle up to 30.
Level 2: Level 1 bonus plus fighting at night increases your damage output by 5 points.
Level 3: Level 2 bonus plus every kill you make increases your damage output by 10 points for the battle up to 40 points for the next battle up to 5 points.
Monstrous Tendencies: All Grimm used to be monsters. Now they can fight like the monsters they are.
NOT FOR VAMPIRES OR WEREWOLVESLevel 0: You can't fight like the monster you are.
Level 1: Unnarmed attacks now deal 10 points of damage.
Level 2: Unnarmed attacks now deal 20 points of damage.
Level 3: Unnarmed attacks now deal the same as your highest weapon.
Beast Mode: Grimm have the unique ability to shift back into their prior beast form. For Werewolves, they can shift into Dire Wolves and for Vampires they can shift into Vampire Bats.
Level 0: You can't seem to recall your monster form.
Level 1: You can shift into your monster form. You must wait at least 3 turns before shifting back. You can only deal unnarmed damage, Monstrous Tendencies is counted.
Level 2: You can shift into your monster form. You must wait at least a turn before shifting back. You can only deal unnarmed damgae, Monstrous Tendencies is counted.
Level 3: You can shift into your monster form and back at will. You can only deal unnarmed damage, Monstrous Tendencies is counted.
Darkness Within: Monsters are born from Darkness. Grimm are born from Monsters. There is still Darkness within you, let it out.
Level 0: There's not enough Darkness within you to let out.
Level 1: Once per thread you can release all the darkness pent up inside of you dealing 10 points of damage to all enemies. You must skip your next turn's actions and are limited to one action for the rest of the thread.
Level 2: Once per thread you can release all the darkness pent up inside of you dealing 30 points of damage to all enemies. You must skip your next turn's actions and are limited to one action for the rest of the thread.
Level 3: Twice per thread you can release all the darkness pent up inside of you dealing 30 points of damage to all enemies. You must skip your next turn's actions but you are no longer limited to one action for the rest of the thread.
