APPEARANCE
Faren's sky blue hair would be considered something of a rarity. Well it would if she didn't dye it. Her natural hair color is a medium blonde.
PERSONALITY
Faren is a woman who knows exactly where her loyalties lie. The Royal Family of Oberonia and the laws they inspire. It is her dream to join the knights of Oberonia and be a personal guard to the King and Queen herself. While she works towards achieving her dream she's decided to do the next best thing and guard the Fair City itself.
Despite being such a law abiding citizen and quite the home body, Faren has a dream to explore the unknown regions of the Mystern Forest. She'll deny it if asked, claiming that Oberonia is really the only place she'd ever want to explore.
Beyond her lawfulness and her secret exploration desire there is a streak of tenacity and stubbornness. Faren will never falter in any task she is given. She will push herself and those with her to the point of exhaustion to complete a job. It's this trait that has made her quite unpopular among her fellow guardsmen.

HISTORY
Faren's life started relatively simply. Her parents were a priest of Numiera for a father and a weapons merchant for a mother. Growing up with those parents Faren learned quite a bit. She knew the proper way to hold nearly any weapon before she reached puberty and she could recite the tenants of Numiera by the same time. Both of her parents wanted her to follow different paths in her life. Her father wanted her to join him in the clergy. Her mother thought that with her natural skill with weaponry she should join a mercenary guild before settling down in a merchants life.
Faren had other plans for her life however. For years she looked up to the Royal Guard, the most elite of the Knights of Oberonia. She knew that is where she was meant to be, being the personal guard of the King and Queen; the last line of defense in case of war. The biggest problem Faren faced in realizing her life's purpose was that there has never been a Royal Guard rise from the common ranks. It was only because she was a High Elf that she stood even the slightest chance. Her first decision to reach her perfect career was to join the city guard of Oberonia. Not as glamorous as many would like, Faren made herself as useful as she could, becoming one of the youngest guardsmen to gain her own solo patrol.
So far the only event of note in Faren's life was the Battle of Hawkcrest and Oberonia. She was among those who fought that fateful battle and was also present for the treaty signing. Now that there is peace between the humans and the elves Faren has returned to her patrols in the city.
