APPEARANCE
Poppy is a petite girl, with blonde hair and large violet eyes. Her hair is normally pulled back into two pigtails. Instead of the usual tiara, Poppy wears a large headband. Or headbands, seeing as she has one to match with all of her dresses. Her dresses are always frilly and are just below her knee in length. She pairs them with long gloves, stockings and little black shoes.
Her family's wealth is reflected in a lot of her accessories.Beaded crystal hair ties, the gemstones under her eyes, the jeweled fairy wings, and her large earrings are but a few of her accessories. Poppy can also be found carrying around an umbrella, even if it's a bright sunny day.

PERSONALITY
Poppy is a well-mannered young girl. At least, in the eyes of the public.She has a sweet and calm demeanor. Curious and dauntless, this wee little princess can be found causing all sorts of mischief around the palace. From climbing up garden towers, to sneaking through old passageways at night. It's a miracle she hasn't given her nursemaid a heart attack yet. Or at least a fatal one.
She can be very naive, and careless with her own safety. After all, she's lived a rather sheltered life. Poppy is rather sensitive, often crying if someone raises their voice at her. She's very stubborn as well, and doesn't take no for an answer if she can help it.

HISTORY
Princess Poppy Oberonia is the only child of the king and queen of Oberonia, and the crown heir. She was born and raised within the confines of the palace. Much of the princess's infancy was spent with her mother, but as she grew older her nursemaid became her sole caretaker.
Because of her standing, proper etiquette was extremely important. Her tutors began schooling her in manners and politeness long before they started teaching her reading and basic arithmetic. However, even with the manners she was taught, she was a bit of a rambunctious child. Always climbing up things, or hiding in the courtyards, sending guards and maids into a frenzy searching for her.
As she grew older she grew braver. Ever since she started sword-fighting lessons, she started to believe she would be just fine leaving the palace on her own.But of course the guards would never let her leave. So Poppy decided the next best course of action would be to climb up the walls that surrounded her home and slip back down the other side.
In her nicest dress, with an umbrella strapped to her back, the princess began her ascent. She was going great at first, till someone noticed a person in bright, frilly clothes trying to scale the side of a stone wall. Even with the guards shouting up at her, Poppy wouldn't come back down. She just kept climbing, until the guards who patrolled the top of the wall scooped her up.
After that fiasco. Poppy decided that her escape would need better planning. So she now spends time writing up ideas while watching the lightning bugs in the courtyard at night.
